Hi, I am from Hong Kong and I will go to Curpentino for a week in early Feb. I was wondering if there is any record store there for vinyl hunt? My interest are mostly 90's alternative rock plus classic rock.

    Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean Cupertino, California?

Streetlight is in San Jose, nearby. Haven't been there in decades though.

Nothing at all in Cupertino. Streetlights and Rasputin in Campbell are about 10 minutes away by car.

Thanks for the tips! Is it worth to drive to San Francisco or Berkeley to visit Amoeba ?

Yes. Or you could catch the train up to SF.

No, I mean CalTrain. There is an express called the Baby Bullet from the station at Sunnyvale to the City.

I never walk into such a huge record store like Ameoba!

However, I found that there are not many used LP than I thought, specially 90's stuffs, I guess maybe people now will sell their records on ebay or discogs instead of record stores.

However, I still got around 40 pieces, most of them are 70's stuffs: blues, folk, classic rock, all of them under $5.99, not rare items, but hard to find in Hong Kong.

Maybe getting an Arlen Roth Hot Pickup is kind of a surprise.
