The 'record-breaking blizzard' turned out to be a dud where I am.

Thats what I was hoping. Although my guess is pretty much right on. I guessed 1 ft. The news was reporting 2-3ft, but its still falling like crazy here ( near Bostonĺ

We got about a foot and it was in the 20's when I took the dog out. I just went on a 4 mile walk through Inwood Hill Park. Came back shoveled the driveway, cleared off the cars and now I'm sipping hot coffee listening to Nat King Cole. I'll follow it up with some Ike Quebec. Nice warm comfort music for a cold day.

No wonder the new neighbors seemed a little uncomfortable when I was talking to them.Hey I used my snowblower to help them dig out so no harm no foul.
Still have the deck to do.Looks close to 40 inches deep out there.Gotta thaw out for a bit.

So far, a bit over two feet north of Boston where I am. Still snowing hard and the wind is blowing everything sideways. Just loaded my mp3 player with some new playlists; including a country Elvis comp, some rare Beatles and solo stuff and the new itunes release of Who's Next. Round two of plowing and shoveling should take a few hours... then another round, at least, tonight. How fun!!! Ron
