Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced MONO questions...

I was at Salvation Army poking through the vinyl when I came across this.







I can take more pics if its needed.
However, the bad news is, no LP inside! Boooo. I tried to do a bit of research but cant find much. Is this a rarity? The jacket is in EX condition. Its still in the shrink wrap.
Only cost me $1.

I figure I can atleast just save it with my other 3 copies of this album. I also have another AYE jacket where the backside is upside-down.

The album in mono is a rarity yes...so the jacket that says "mono" on it is technically rare.

 

Nice find! And for only a buck. Suitable for framing but personally I'd look for a good original mono copy that has a worse jacket and call it a match made in heaven.

I don't think it's a fold.

 

A fold-down is when it's not a dedicated mono mix, but rather just combining the two stereo tracks into one.
