I was being sarcastic. The idea that there was going to be a possibility of a Zeppelin tour with some random promoter's on playing drums is as insipid a thing as I've ever heard about this particular topic.

  9. No. Let's hope not, anyway.

Also, methinks the story in the OP was maybe from The Onion or similar.

Let's put this to rest once and for all.

The 2007 Re-Union Tour was for the purpose of honoring the late Ahmet Ertegun.

There will never be another Led Zeppelin show- that would be disrespectful to Ahmet and invalidate what they did for him in 2007.

    period- end of story...

I heard they were going to go out with Dave Grohl on drums and perform one complete album every night.

I don't see it ever happening again.

Unless they get Paul Rodgers to take Plant's place.:D

God I hope not. Reunions (band, family, high school, relationship, etc.) are almost never a good idea.

I heard the promoter upped the ante to a full billion dollars, both of his sons playing drums, and they could call it the New New Yardbirds instead of Zeppelin. Robert asked for the weekend to think about it.

If Page and Jones have the right to use the name with a different singer it's possible but pointless

No, and there's no need for that to ever happen. They've done a few one-off reunions, with the 2007 O2 show the best of the bunch. Their legacy is fully intact, and there's nothing to prove.

I have the records, a few good boots, the dvd's and that's all I need...in my best Steve Martin aka Naven Johnson voice :)

    No.

That being said a Guns n' Roses reunion is less likely than a Zep reunion IMO

Sadly, there's an awful lot running in the news these days that reads like it's from The Onion...

Probably not. OK if it happened. What the heck, take it for what its worth I guess and you don't expect too much.
