It's too bad there is no CD being offered.

Are the digital files in a lossless format? I sure do hope so.

I'm a fan of ambient and ambient like music. But I did not like this at all. I could not deal with all of the talking he does...

I will admit the packaging for the $200(!!) limited LP looks very nice. But I don't think this is for me. Enjoy if you like it!

It should be noted that "100% of the retail price from each album sold goes directly to No Kid Hungry, excluding shipping and service fees. So you’ll get a good night’s rest knowing that when you download the album, or pick up the LP or cassette, you're helping end childhood hunger in America."

The download is pay-what-you-want. There's a standard vinyl version as well as the deluxe, and it's even on cassette! No CD version, though-- a sign of the times?

I do love that the money is going to a good cause. You cannot argue with that. I hope he sells a lot!

Yeah.... having Jeff Bridges chatter in your ear isn't particularly effective.

If I want something to fall asleep to, I'd rather stick with "The Endless River."

(That's not an insult towards TER, it just works well as relaxation music. :))

    Anyone pick this up?

I see the boxsets are on ebay and out of my league but thinking about the limited LP.

I purchased the download and burned this to CD and played it last night. The parts with the kids didn't exactly soothe me, but later on, after Jeff and I hiked the canyon and went hang-gliding....I started to drift....nearly went....it was working.
