    Newly announced at both blu-ray.com and Home Theater Forum from a resident industry insider member...the classic 1979 murder drama "The Onion Field", directed by Harold Becker and starring John Savage, James Woods, Ted Danson, Ronny Cox, David Huffman & Christopher Lloyd...no MSRP or pre-order link at Amazon.com yet, but Kino-Lorber generally prices their blu-rays at $29.95 and Amazon generally discounts pre-orders from them at 30% or $20.98...will update this thread with new info when available!!!

    Saw it at the theatre when it came out and a few years ago on cable. Really good movie. :agree:
    One of James Woods' creepiest roles, and that's saying something!

    The scene that really stayed with me is when Ted Danson's character is about to be shot out in the onion field he looks up at the moon for it to be the last thing he sees.

    Good film but hard to watch. Definitely have to be ready to watch it each time. It's worth watching it for Woods alone.
