The Avener feat. Phoebe Killdeer - Fade Out Lines

The Avener's rework for "Fade Out Lines" by Australian artist Phoebe Killdeer doesn't need any introduction anymore.
One of the most played tunes on the radio the past month. It has some kind of Wankelmut-vibe in it.
His album is definately worth checking including original stuff + various reworks from Ane Brun to John Lee Hooker.

This 17 y.o. New Zealand-girl is considered to become the new Lorde. New Zealand has been delivering some interesting female artists over the last years including Kimbra, Brooke Fraser and Lorde.

Arsenal collaboration with Danish Talent "Lydmor", second hitsingle from their album "Furu".
The videoclip is part of their self-produced movie "Dance! Dance! Dance!" which was filmed in Japan.
They won a Music Industry Award for "Best Live Band" a couple of years ago + nominations for Best Artwork, Video and Dance.

The very last single of Vaya Con Dios filmed at their "Farewell Concert" last year.
In their carreer they sold more than 10 million records and had various European Nr. 1-hits.
Great single, although there's not much left of her powerful voice she had back in the days.

Featuring early member Willy Willy on guitar, who left the band for The Scabs (The Scabs' comeback album "Ways of a Wild Heart" is released today, after a 10 year hiatus).

Next month both Vaya Con Dios and The Scabs will receive a lifetime achievement award, from the national radiostation, comparable with the R&R Hall of Fame.

Another stunning performance from Jazz-Rockband "Dans Dans", a sideproject of bandmembers from Mark Lanegan Band, Flying Horseman and Dez Mona.

Bert Dockx was nominated for "Best Musician" at the Belgian Music Industry Awards last year, but Mauro Pawlowski finally won the battle (dEUS, Gruppo Di Pawlowski, Evil Superstars,...). Their album "3" was considered to be one of the best releases of 2014 by the national press.

Watch their stunning performance for "Bruxelles, Ma Belle":

The latest album from The Magic Numbers wasn't that well received by the press, but all singles have been decent radiohits so far.

The Preatures released a fun poprock-album "Blue Planet Eyes" last year including the radiohit "Is This How You Feel?" and became one of the most promising Aussie-bands of the moment.

    Here's the new single:

Latest track from the new Ting Tings-album "Super Critical" and already a huge radiohit. Great new album after the disappointing difficult second album.
Mastering is very good to modern standards, check it out!

VUURWERK are already highly acclaimed for their remixes for e.g. Bon Iver, School Is Cool, Arsenal,...

The Waterboys get many airplay over here as well, especially at Radio 1. Album does pretty well in the album-chart, they still got a huge fanbase in UK & Belgium.

Melanie De Biasio will soon release a "Remix-Album" of her highly praised Jazz-Album "No Deal", that also did very well outside the Jazz-world. Including "Gold Status" in various countries, European Breaking Border Award, stunning performance in Later with Jools Holland (the leading music show in Europe), heavy support from BBC6 Music and Belgian/French national stations + impeccable performances at the leading European pop-, rock- and jazzfestivals.

In the mean time she just recorded two hauntingly beautiful remakes of her greatest hits accompanied by a string orchestra. Check them out!

The 24bit Studio Master is available at Qobuz. Vinyl comes with CD. Must have-record.

Frustrating in these modern days. Mostly the Vevo-videos give problems all the time.
