Sure, but the dichotomy here isn't defective vs. non-defective. It's normal vs. exotic.

It's WAY past time you guys actually did some research on a topic you are so passionate about.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=asynchronous+usb+dac&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=asynchronous+usb

I disagree, its an explanation of how a USB cable may make more or less of a difference... I don't know how you don't understand that. But again, I'm sure you didn't actually know what asynchronous actually means before you googled it a few minutes ago.

I'm going to stick by my assertion that the green USB cables sound the best.

It's interesting that some folk believe that they can experience others cognitive processes and their personal experiences in a different system to their own.....from across the internet.

    Amazing...really!

Edit: even if they were in that room, it would still be pretty amazing as they would only be able to relate to their own perception and experience.

I know, but it´s the only one that has been shown to have a different sound, that I know of anyway.

The blue ones have always sounded way too bright and brittle to me.

I'm just amazed that some folk can't read nwavguy's blog but then again I shouldn't be. For some, audiophilia is as much about creating problems where they don't exist, or have little meaningful impact in the real audible world. as anything else.

I believe You are right. Also far too cold. Here blue cables are not that very popular, people are far more into red cables, they are warmer.

If there was a USB cable that blocked USB cable threads, I would probably buy one. :)

So I imagine if I told you I can shoot laser beams from my eyes, you'd sort of shrug and say you're not in any position to say otherwise?

I would shrug, and say that I guess I need to concede that my stereo system isn't good enough.

It helps that he knows what he's talking about...of course you're maybe one of those that's inclined to give the hearsay of an audiophile full credit when it doesn't stack up for a bit of wire, but don't let the facts get in the way whatever you do...

I have actually invented a pill that makes my cat speak German, and with a Berlinian accent, not bad.

I suppose the only problem is nobody else can hear your cat speaking in German because they don't understand how talking cat pills work, and worse yet have read misinformation on the internet about talking cats. And you can't record a video of your cat speaking German, because, well, never mind why; its not important anyway.

I can´t record and post anything from my cat because it might only sound like; 'meuw' to some, and that will not be correct, because I certainly hear the German.

It doesn't matter what you believe you are perceiving if the fire you are pouring water on does not actually exist. And in this case, it doesn't.

Cool, you have a "personal opinion" on the matter.

It's not a "personal opinion" when it's based on science. But it's cool that you base your perception on ignorance.

    You'll be back shortly.

Most likely with another emoticon to end your next post.
