Has Schitt Audio dropped suppliers? Are suppliers not choosing to sell this product any longer?

That's one of the reason the product is good for the money, we don't have to pay the middle man mark up.

Thank you for the reply. Can you do 24/192 needle drops with this DAC? I know it does 24/192 playback.

You're looking for an Analog to Digital Converter, which is the opposite of a Digital to Analog Converter.

The only time I did something like that was when I made a CD out of a cassette I had. I just plugged the cassette player into the input of my computer and used Audacity to make the rip. I'm sure there are better options but it sounded pretty good. A TT with a built in preamp should work the same way.

Audio Advisor used to carry their products, must have been a short lived relationship. :)

I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I asked that question. I currently have an Arcam irDac and use a TEAC AI-2000 integrated/Jolida JD9MK2 Pre/MAC Mini with Vinyl Studio to do my needle drops.

I have heard great things about the Bifrost Uber Analog. Uber is the the one with USB, correct?

Schiit also sells through Amazon. And sometimes sells B-stock through Amazon. Type "Schiit" in the Amazon search if you dare.
The Amazon buying option can be handy for people who have an Amazon gift certificate or have other reasons for wanting to buy through Amazon.
