That would just be Yeezy being (ghoat) cheesy.

I think that in a way his upcoming album will potentially be that album; if there are around 9 or 10 songs that they wrote together, and they were all released together, it would basically be a fully collaborative album.

Or even if each artist released one or two of their own songs plus the ones they wrote together, it would make up an interesting album. IMHO. :)

That is a good point. I wonder if Paul will release any on his releases? If he does, it will be similar to his collaboration with Costello.

In the five weeks this song has been out in the UK, it has only been at number four and five on the charts.

    Only?

The song's chart performance seems impressive to me, especially since it's not a dance track per Rihanna's usual releases and since Kanye gets nothing but savage publicity in the UK. Plus for Paul at 72 to have a top 5 hit for four or five weeks running is pretty amazing. Bowie's first single after his semi-retirement got massive positive publicity yet only reached No. 6 and only stayed there a week.

The new singles chart is just out and the song remains at No. 5. It's too bad Rihanna bailed on the Brits award show or the song would have gone up the charts.

I was highlighting the coincidence that it has only been at no. 4 and 5 in the UK charts, not the fact that the chart performance is or isn't impressive.

I noticed what you were doing. Nice.

Too bad though that the song was not titled One Two Seconds...

And like Song 2 being a number 2 in the UK. When will they learn?

And just like when Ringo's Ringo 2012 album made #2012 on the charts. Another incredible coincidence.

  19. I just got it for $1.29 (plus $1.49 shipping) from Hastings, a couple weeks ago. Hopefully you included this in your calculations.

In case anyone's interested, I also just posted a version of one of my original tunes from the same event. A little rough around the edges as the bassist and drummer who sat in with us here had stopped playing with us about 9 months ago and just leapt in on this one with no rehearsal as they happened to be there.

That's the single funniest thing I've ever read on this site. Or should that be GOAT joke.

The funniest thing EVER on this site? Gosh, I didn't think it was THAT funny. I guess then I'm just like Macca---A bad judge of my own material. Maybe I should let you hear my joke outtakes...

It just tickled my funny bone. Whether it has the staying power to become an alltime classic - a keeper - or not is another matter, but the hook grabbed me from the get-go. Perhaps if you packaged your outtakes in a deluxe set, got someone to write some clever liner notes about what you were up to when you came up with the jokes and some never-before-seen photos I might be tempted. And if there's a Coming Soon card...

Here is one of my joke outtakes that wasn't deemed good enough for the public:

Question: What was the original title of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps""

Answer: "While My Guitar Gently Frets"... Get it? Guitar... Fret... :hide:

So, are you sure you want more of these? As you can see, I typically whittle the good stuff out from the bad.
