Not sure why you think it's fake but Record Surplus is a legit store here in Los Angeles, might want to give them a call to see what they say.

Just seems odd that he's sold so many copies of the same record over the past year, and that they all have the exact same description (tiny bubbles, inner sleeve residue, etc)

I've never seen them sell any other Sam Cooke record in the past, just "Wonderful World"...which also happens to be the one of the most valuable ones.

I only see one copy that got to $26 but the reserve wasn't met, are you sure it wasn't just the same record relisted? You should call and ask them, I'm sure they would be happy to answer any questions.

No, if you click his feedback you can go back and see that he's sold a bunch.

What did they say when you called them?

    Not fake.

I bought 2 copies of that record from the guy, back in the early 2000s. Both were sealed and cost me around $200 each.

He found a trunk full of them. He was selling one a week on Paybay for years, fetching $150 to $300 each.

Interesting. Never heard of paybay before.
