You haven't seen this movie until you've seen it on 16 mm. film.

I'm getting the blu-ray first, I'm thinking that might be enough for me. There's a lot more space on the blu-ray disc, looks like some of the same extras on it.

Not sure if I should get the Blu Ray or 3 DVD set. I have a 60" TV so some DVD's don't look to great on it.

There have been a couple complaints on-line regarding problems with disc 3 of the DVD set, maybe that is why they are cheap? The Blu-ray is not bad I will stick with it.

The BluRay has all of the content that's on the three DVDs?

The Blu-Ray has the same content as Disc 1 of the set. Disc 2 is the "Stones In Exile" documentary and Disc 3 has some interview footage that (I think) is unique to the set.

I have the Blu-Ray but bought the set anyway. The Blu-Ray has better audio and video quality, so if you just want the concert in best quality it's the way to go.

For $25 I liked having the extra goodies the package presents.

Wayne Shorter Speak No Evil on vinyl for $9.81. I believe this is the Blue Note 75th Anniversary Series pressing. I have a copy and it sounds pretty nice.

I'll be upgrading to the MM remaster when it comes out later this summer. But at less than 1/3 that cost, this pressing is certainly worth checking out..

This series does not get a lot of love due to pressing issues. I got the Dexter Gordon "Our Man in Paris" recently from Amazon sale. It is a wee bit wobbly but plays okay it seems. I consider myself l lucky I suppose. I already have "Speak No Evil" on original CD so will pass on this one.

Being Amazon Prime, one can order it then keep on exchanging it until they get a good one :)

Well, until they close your account and blacklist you, anyway.

Oh that would suck...really happen to you? I have good luck thus far with Amazon LPs (only a few ordered, though). Personally, if I got two bad ones in a row I would ask for a refund and try elsewhere.

It has not happened to me, but it has happened to a lot of people. They aren't going to do that because you return a record or two. But if you are the kind of person who is picky and buys vinyl and has, say, a 25% return rate over time, then yes, you have a good chance of having your account closed. And once that happens, you can NEVER get it opened again...

Picky vinyl purchasers who are prone to returns should probably not be buying through Amazon...

How does one get alerted of deals like this from Amazon?

Perhaps there is a way but I don't know of any.

I found this one by searching "Blue Note" under "Vinyl" and just scrolling through the listings..

    And

Bewitched - complete series (33 discs)

Under $20 each and sold by Amazon, not third party sellers. With Prime and no sales tax, it was an instant sale for me.

Wow, thanks. I've been wanting that Bewitched set even though I have most of the individual seasons because the final season wasn't released in large quantities and costs a fortune.

Exactly. At $0.61 a disc it's a great deal. I wish Gilligan's Island was on sale though. Partridge Family is on sale, but not at such a good price as the others.

Mill Creek reissued the first two seasons in B&W for $10, however the original Sony releases are dirt cheap. I've had problems with Mill Creek's high compression on their Married With Children and Roseanne complete series sets.

The only way to watch the first two seasons of Bewitched is in B&W. Sorry kids.

I could watch Elizabeth Montgomery in colour or B&W. Very easy on the eyes. :righton:
