Anyone using an integrated amp?

46 pounds, dual mono, fully balanced hybrid integrated with tube preamp section and SS power.
150W per channel into 8 ohms, 250W per channel into 4 ohms.
Machined metal remote, defeatable tone controls on rear.

 

AMC 3100 mkII for the main system and a Cambridge Audio 640A v2 in the secondary system.

 

I have a NAD C-372 in one of my systems. Works great, and sounds good.

 

Been using a Classe CAP-100 for 10 years, like it so much I recently bought a used one for 1/3 of what the original cost for a secondary system.

 

Anthem Integrated 225 , been using it for a while. Plenty of power and sounds great.

The best integrated I have heard and luckily I own it........

 

Love it for the price/performance but I wish I could turn off the display. Have a piece of electrical tape over it.

 

cambridge audio AZUR 540A/w built in phono stage runs my stereo just fine.......

I auditioned that last year a truly great amp......

 

I went from a Kenwood KA-9100 integrated amp (bought in 1978-80?) to a Marantz PM5003 (bought in 2010).

 

Marantz PM-11S3 and recently acquired Marantz PM-14S1. Also got a new PM6004 for my wife from Music Direct for $349 before they blew the rest out at $399.

 

i rockED this for 21 yrs [not mine + i had the wood case]!

"Stereo Review" had the Pioneer SA-9500 Integrated Amplifier as a best-of-the-day back-in-the-day [review in the August 1975 issue].

Right after which i had a tube stereo intergatED for a moment B4 going multi-channelED.

i had too go pre-amp cause of "Home Theater" [just too many channels & changes too quickly for both A&V/Sherwood 1st & Onkyo last]

 

I bought some new PSB Synchrony IIs a few years back and my Luxman A-377 integrated wasn't up to the task of driving those beasts. I bought an Anthen 225 ($1,500 at the time, now $2,000). Its 225wpc @8ohms tamed the PSBs. Highly recommended with a decent MM Phono pre built in as well.

 

I use powered monitors

 

Unison Research Unico for my secondary system. It's quite nice.

 

A Technics SU-V6.

 

I'm using a Rega ELEX-R in an all Rega 2nd system and couldn't be happier with it.

 

Never missed them.

My newest acquisition a Harman Kardon PM665Vxi. 150 watts. Perfect for pushing the hard to push KLH Five's. Other than a mediocre phono(which is ok since I have an Avid Pulsus phono that I love) quite a robust machine, if just a wee bit on the lean side.
