Had a Luxman integrated in the 70's/80's (L100). I loved that thing. the 505 looks dead sexy and I would bet it sounds that way too.

It sounds great matched with Harbeth 7es3 speakers. Rarely the volume gets past 9 or 10 and I listen to hard rock/metal sometimes at fairly high levels. Really grabs the speakers and drives with a sense of ease...

Yep--a Pass Labs INT-150--I love it! It's extraordinarily transparent and detailed.

I use the same integrated. It pairs well with my Rega P9 and Quad speakers.

This was high on my list for contenders when I was looking for an integrated amp last month. I think it is more attractive than my Pass Labs, but my Pass Labs is more attractively priced! ;) (Especially when discounted...)

I'm using a Yamaha audio-video unit. Probably not as good as a audio-only unit, but it has a phono in, built-in analogue radio, network capability, and plays surround discs. I'm considering switching back to a regular integrated amp as I never play surround discs anymore nor do I use it to watch Blurays.

My mother had a similar one in the 80's. It was great sounding.

Currently on my buy next list, (easier to hide/slip from the Ms in to the system than new speakers) :D

Still trusting my old, fully serviced Luxman L-230, which has a very good phono stage built-in.

Did the same thing almost 9 years ago. Ditched a Classe pre power combo for the Simaudio I5.

:agree: When I got it it wasn't turning on, but it was mint and my dad used to have one and the word of mouth on the internet was good. Took it to my guy and he serviced it for $120 and it's screaming now.

I've had separates in the past but have always preferred integrated amps due to a much better performance/price ratio. I've owned integrated amps from Yamaha, Marantz, Naim, Luxman and currently own a Peachtree Audio Nova65- I love it.

Exposure 2010S2. Love it and I don't see myself ever going back to separates again.

I used to have a pre amp/power amp set up but decided to downsize and go the integrated route. Ended up with a vintage Accuphase E202. I missed the tube sound and eventually got a VTL IT85. I think these two amps will keep me happy for a very long time.

My preamp needs to be repaired (already!!!!! But it is old & needs through maintenance ) but my Denon PMA 1510 sounds great. I sometimes wonder why I went further in the first place.
