    Any Canadians out there?

I'm just wondering about how much it would cost me to send a CD to the US in a bubble mailer? Is it cheaper to mail if it's not in a jewel case?

(I don't have a scale at home so I can't figure it out on Canada Post's website easily. Just hoping someone knows off the top of their head.)

A jewelcase with bubble wrap will have to go small packet air and will be around $10 with tax.

Without a jewel case it can go letter rate but the chances of damage gets much higher. I would not want to send anything of value that way.

You can send it Light Packet for $5.00. I use small boxes sized L=5.25" X W=5" X 0.5" and include the jewel case. Larger packages, such as a double-wide "Fatboy" jewel case costs about $7.50 to the USA. Bubble-packed envelopes have a 50/50 rate of damaged goods and why I never use them.
