No. All CDs are handled that way, even new ones. I hate scratches.

    Are you delusional?!?!?

It's not mathematically possible, unless it's a loss leader. Especially is Amazon can sell stuff for less than other stores can buy stuff wholesale. Record store buyers know full way they are paying a premium for convenience/browsing/immediate sale/inspecting vinyl before purchase/keeping up a local music "culture". They also have a place to dump unwanted music with ease.

For awhile in Vancouver Canada is was LAW you couldn't sell CDs after 6pm. Back when Junkies could get money for CDs stolen from cars/homes. Stores also may have fewer people on staff at night.

Some people have their record wishlists on their phone which could further complicate things for store owners. Some even have an app to scan bar codes of records for even faster reference.

Increase your dosage :) and get some GooGone for removing the stickers.

Given that new replacement jewel cases are about 20 cents each (e.g. at Microcenter), it's not really cost effective to rescue heavily stickered/damaged case parts.

But if you want to do that, don't get GooGone (which can stain). Just get a bottle of naptha (lighter fluid).
