We got 1000 frowns from "Little Wing."

    Three remain, one must go.

Discussion question: If a novice asked you which album to turn to next after enjoying this one, where would you point him?

    4 Little Wing
    5 Crossfire
    6 Tightrope
    7 Pride And Joy
    T8 The House Is Rockin'
    T8 Change It
    T10 Taxman
    T10 Life Without You

DQ: Weather, I guess. that's the one that really got SRV noticed.

I really can't pick a favorite from the all-too-short catalog.

I'm giving Cold Shot the Cold Shoulder (Joeyism right there for you, when this track gets eliminated!)

I think "Couldn't Stand The Weather" is SRV's best album, so I'd steer a newbie there. Nothing wrong with starting with "Texas Flood" either, though. It's a short catalog.

I voted out Texas Flood since it's a cover.

My favorite album of Stevie's is actually the posthumous album the Sky Is Crying.

    Voted off Texas Flood.

DQ: I'd route them to the debut 'Texas Flood' and then to 'Couldn't Stand the Weather'.

DQ: I would recommend CStW for a novice to check out SRV.

dq: Couldn't Stand the Weather is probably his most recognized album. Soul to Soul is my personal favourite - not typical of SRV, but I love the organ and the darker feeling.

DQ: It depends on what songs he or she enjoyed the most from Greatest Hits, but I generally lean towards Texas Flood -- if they can't appreciate the debut, SRV probably isn't for them.

DQ: I couldn't say; I AM the one that would be asking for guidance.
