An odd one I learned about from a prog newsgroup. First edition of this Steve Howe release had a Roger Dean cover where it looks like there is a drowned body in the water. Later this was revised.

How about the 4 Cindy Sherman-inspired variants of this cover:

Simple Minds have a few examples, firstly two variants of Once Upon A Time, the top one sold significantly better than the bottom one and was used for the CD covers too, meaning that the bottom one is uncommon, if not expensive. Certainly, I've never seen one in person.

Simple Minds also released Real Life with this stark blue cover as the cover was designed to fit the dimensions of a DAT tape. After a while they switched the cover to the back and used the original white back cover for the front. If you ask me the white cover works way better, but some purists prefer the original.

No one, I had eggs today.

I was referring to the way the photo cropped the top of the one guys head while two practically disembodied heads appear in front of his legs. The band photo with their instruments on the scond cover is much better.

Ok. I think this is a case of different albums using the same artwork. :)

I dig the cover. If you are going to do that one, there were also Japanese releases of "Meet The Beatles" and "The Beatles' Second Album" in Japan that also used the same "artwork" from the US LPs, but had completely different track lists.

Original double-album vinyl cover and initial single CD release cover, which was missing four songs and banter from original double vinyl album.

Import 2 disc CD cover which restores songs and banter to original double vinyl release soundtrack.

The US first press, I have one, didn't realize it till I grabbed the CD, subsequent US presses changed the cover, not sure where it was sourced as I see at least on discogs the UK did not have the pissed off one either, they must of sent the wrong prints

That's the sticker on the black shrink that covered the album, is it not?
