I meant but excluded, corporate "approved", sorry. As I understood the story, the drawing was actually by David Dragon of Design Clinic Inc. which was an adaptation of a drawing by Hans Erni from a Swiss classical music program that was submitted as concept from Andy Partridge and this comes from Andy's explanation, but no matter.

 

Yep that's the version from the book n XTC. I know that Andy goes on record as preferring his original design but I think the subtly of Hans' drawing blends better wth the music on the album.
