Speakers

I bought a mint condition technics sl1210 mk2 and a marantz pm5005 amplifier. I am now at the stage of speakers. I would like to keep this to about £150 and my wife does not want me to get big ones due to us living in a 2 bedroom bungalow! Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

My turntable came with a Stanton dj cartridge and I have been told by others that maybe I would be better off with a different one for home use. Any suggestions in around the £100 area?

 

I recently bought the Music Hall Marimbas and am very happy with them. Incredibly large soundstage from a diminutive speaker. In the U.S. they retail for $350.
