My son is now 17, which is the same age I was when I first saw The Stones. I'd take her if I were you, on the off chance she'll thank you later on in life.

Good grief, they're playing at Jerry Jones' 100k seat Death Star in Irving, and the cheapest seats after connivance fees are $78.

    Zip Code Tour??? Zip Code?

They are playing the same stadium I saw them in 34 years ago. I'll probably pass. Partly because I can live without ever going to a stadium show again. On the other hand I can presume I would not have to sit through Journey this time.

We're tickets the last time around going for around $750? I can't imagine the prices are going to be less, so no thanks.

Yeah, yeah - I was half-joking... But Milwaukee is arguably the most attractive stop on the tour, having the lowest capacity, so it's probably priced accordingly. But a lot of folks in Ohio and probably also Indiana are going to get to see the Stones for under 50 bucks, which to me is a good thing.

Just curious: do people usually drive/fly to see the Stones in their US tours even if they're not playing near their home town, or do they skip the tour and wait for the next one?

6 hour drive for me to Buffalo. Two nights hotel, a mini vacation.

    There's a next tour?

Average ticket price is cheaper in these bigger venues, but with multi-hundred dollar tickets you'd think that many wouldn't blink at getting hotels/flights.

Cities with well 20,000 hotel rooms/beds will be sold out in everyone of these cities on the night they are playing.

Dunno about others, but I've traveled for shows on every Stones tour I've been able to attend: 1989 to date.

And I'll travel this year, too!

Hey hey you you get offa my lawn.

Poor Keith can barely get his gnarled digits to salute. Charlie has probably wanted to do this since 1963.

One of the youtube comments said there was some friction between Jagger and Taylor on the Australian tour and Jagger yelled "shut up!" at Taylor during one of the shows.

I'll be there. I have seen every tour since 1978. Disappointed that Mick Taylor won't be there BUT Carter-Finley Stadium is 2o minutes away.

I was willing to do "lottery tickets" for the arena shows but not for stadium concerts. I could stand being in the worst seat in an arena - I don't want to be in the worst seat in a stadium, not even for $29! :help:
