Star Wars: Episode VII

My personal opinion is that Luke isn't in this as much as we think he is. Any sort of tidbit that leaks out doesn't even really mention him. A couple do, but for the most part it's all about the new kids.

 

If Abrams does a 360 on Luke one thing he will have...an uproar. I like the idea..and I was at the drive in at age 9 watching the first Star Wars (in other words hardcore fan since the beginning) But to have Luke go Vader? Star Weirds will be on his doorstep with sabers.

Pretty much resembles me Luke Skywalker on ANH...i think she's gonna replace Luke as the new hope.

 

Good point with the one death per movie. In that case (if youre correct about Luke) Luke would have to be in 8. Dude has to die at some point. And he has to die good..not evil.

 

Thats what I think also. Lots of parallels. Humble beginings, probably ignorant of her real family history, she seems rather knee jerk in reaction from the clips, seems to have natural instincts though. Just like Luke. Has that "innocence" factor about her also. So maybe a Luke/Rey showdown?

 

Yeah, i think he's gonna be redeem too like his father...

 

So whats the family tree here again with the youngins'?

Rey/Ren are Hans and Leias kids?

Does Luke have any offspring in this?

 

Also apparently Yavin 4 is revisited, the next screen is from SWTOR the PC game, the last expansion (released last December) revisits Yavin 4 and the temples.

I don't have idea. Many things have been told but so far pure speculation.

 

I'm sure he's in the movie quite a bit. They have to keep some things secret! We only saw one clip of Han, a clip of Luke's hand, and possibly Leia's hand. There's certainly a lot more to the movie than that! Luke has to play a pivotal role in order for this movie to make any sense.

 

Well, one of the things I hope they dont do is to revisit *too* much. Weve already got Hoth and another desert planet...Hopefully we will have some new planets and locations. But perhaps thats really what this new one is about; bringing back the nostalgia. Then 8 will introduce more of the Star Wars universe.

 

I love to speculate.

Going too far... i can imagine a Leia's academy on episode 9 again with plenty of jedis. Or maybe founded by her:

I know Carrie and Daisy Ridley are the main female characters on episode 7 but again....who knows, maybe master and apprentice...

 

The stories of all the bounty hunters is awesome. I want a spin off movie about them.

 

Unless he isn't in this one as much, and play a bigger role in the next ones. This one may be to introduce the new cast, and get things rolling.

 

Luke won't be a Sith, it's too obvious.

 

All I can think of when I hear that name is "Cameron Poe"... Nicolas Cage's character from Con Air!!
