Like it says....I've got a Technics 1200 I need repaired. I'm in New Haven, CT.
    Any suggestions?
More an more places seem to disappear. Not sure who's left or reliable.
    Any insight appreciated. Thanks.

What wrong with it? It might be a simple fix.

    It's an intermittent problem.
The strobe light doesn't come on and both the 45 and 33 buttons light up and the platter spins way too fast.
I'm weary of bringing it somewhere as I don't want to be charged bench time for an intermittent problem.
As above, I don't know of many places that still work on things and could use a recommendation of somewhere that is
    reliable.

It sounds like something on the circuit board is haywire.

If you don't mind shipping it to NJ, I bet that www.kabusa.com could fix it for you. Another possibility is registering at www.audiokarma.net - one of the many knowledgeable DIY'ers over there might be able to help you figure out what the problem is.
