So many favorites already mentioned, I wasn't quite the Sesame Street generation, just a tad too old for it, but I was a big fan of the Muppet Show and did watch some with my son... and ok, if I was home from school sick, it was one of the most decent tv choices at the time slot.

Anyway, I've always been a fan of Roosevelt Franklin (baaa) Elementary School, here's one I could find:

Not sure if this has been mentioned, or if it qualifies, but here's Herbie Hancock on Sesame Street showing kids the Fairlight CMI, around 1980 or so:

In my mind this song never does end. It's there always!

"Superstition" is an often misunderstood song...

Yup, one of the greatest musical TV performances EVER... And for a bunch of 6-year-olds to boot! I suspect their lil' minds were well and truly blown.

No one mentioned this yet? I saw this as a kid... YEARS before I knew that "Born To Run," or Bruce himself, actually existed.

By the time it surfaced on YouTube, I was a huge Springsteen fan, which made me appreciate just how cleverly they "approximate" the classic Bruce sound here... Bits of Jungleland, Born To Run, and Thunder Road all mixed together. (And, um, a white girl Muppet in place of Clarence....)

Sesame Street has done some great parodies (Hey Food, The Rebel L) but this is still my fave.

It was mention earlier in the thread (back in 2007), but I've always loved the Jazzy Spies with Grace Slick on vocals. Being somebody who was watching Sesame Street since the first season, these had a big impact on me. But I didn't know it was Grace on vocals until just the last few years!

OK, it's been mentioned but no one's posted video/audio of "I Love Trash" -- and not the original version.

From the Elmopalooza soundtrack, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Steven Tyler (this is pretty awesome):
