Yes, they botched things up with the digital stuff.

Also: There is a cover discrepancy between the actual LP of Fresh Cream and the picture shown on the back of the box too. One uses the UK cover (with the teardrop album title) and the other uses the USA cover (in a square box).

    See posts #185 and 187.

Or "The Coffee Song", "Wrapping Paper" and "Anyone For Tennis". They could've included a 4 song bonus "Extra" EP like the 1980's Australian Box Set originally had.

Just bought the box set. Not sure if it's all analogue but it sure sounds fantastic. My dad never got to buy their first album on vinyl so my first listen was to a copy my maths teacher from high school lent to me. The vinyl reissue in this set sounds way better than that old CD, way better.

  8. I did get this box set recently. Manufacturing quality seems to be quite good. All LP's except one were nice and flat and without scuffs. Not sure what to do about the one LP, it is warped a bit more than what I find acceptable. The rest seems close to perfect.

I haven't done any externsive sound comparisons yet. The two Live Cream releases sound better than any of the old CD versions (Japan, WG).

So is the consensus on this set overall positive? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on it. Decent price on amazon.ca.

  13. For the European pressing, yes. I am not sure if all sets were pressed in Europe.

Following the above, I was (also) told today that Amazon Italy are selling the box set for 69 euro or £ 46 as a special offer. That's about 11 Euro or £8 only for each LP.

Thanks for that I finally pulled the trigger. We'll see what kind of shape the box will arrive in to USA.
