    Been enjoying it.

    BBC productions are usually excellent.

This production is exceptional. Rylance is outstanding as Cromwell. Too bad the Downton Abbey set will most likely ignore it.

It's hard to believe how good it it, but there it is. I don't think I've ever encountered a better adaptation of a novel. It's somehow both faithful to the books and entirely given over to the visual medium. Rylance is astounding.

Here is the portrait by Hans Holbein whose creation was faithfully recreated in The Devil's Spit. Loving this show. Just noticed the last two eps are available on iTunes. Tonight, I shall wallow.

I really liked the books, but I keep falling asleep when watching the program. Have to watch it in the morning or something.

Watched the final two episodes last night via iTunes. Payback is a b*tch.
The final shot is quietly terrifying. "oh, but those claws..."

Is this thing eligible for Emmys??? Rylance, Lewis and Foy all should be nominated.

I just finished ep. 6, where Anne gets beheaded. I bought the season on Amazon and they only give me one new episode a week. How many are there in total? I wish it would continue to Henry's death, but I'm guessing it stops at Cromwell's.

You have watched the end of the series. Hillary Mantel is (finally) working on the third novel of the trilogy, which will end with Cromwell's demise.

Oh no! That sure didn't feel like a final episode. First disappointment of the series for me.

Brilliant series. Understated script and natural dialogue. Well acted. Beautifully shot. The scenes lit by candle and firelight are just wonderful to behold.

The fellow who played Cromwell nailed the part. He became Cromwell.

The U.K. sure produces some wonderful actors.
