It's interesting to see how many songs from those two albums were later re-recorded for his Blues on the Bayou album. The differences are very interesting.

One of my favorites is On Stage-Live from 1965. Original is Kent KST-515. I have it as a reissue on United US-7736. It's got a real club feel of the audience right in the mix. Reminds me of Sam Cooke Live At The Harlem Square Club only wilder.OK,not a studio album but I like it the best of his live stuff.

If this is the one you're talking about, then it's correct that you're mentioning it in the thread about BB's best studio albums because it contains studio recordings.

That's the one! Love it even more than Live At The Regal.

Wow he had so many great albums live from Cook County Jail, Completly Well, indianoa Mississippi seeds. Just way to many to narrow it down. I always liked There Must Be A Better place, and oddly enough I love Let the Good Times Roll. Indianola is one of favorites as well.

Well, but the songs are studio version with crowd overdubs, right? I mean, "Rock Me Baby" even fades out!
My information comes from his biography and from the fact that I have two songs on a compilation that seem to be taken from this album and they are identical with the single versions. Sorry :(
