Price Tracker: Beatles Mono Vinyl box set

I have never bought from GoHastings. Are they good to buy from and are they an American or European shipper?

 

They are US-based. I have had few problems buying new stuff and they have decent phone-based customer service. Buying used is another story--they often ship the wrong disc or badly damaged merchandise.

No tax for purchases to states without any Hastings B&M.

 

Anybody order this "new" from Amazon and have it shipped with or without the original packaging? Just got mine with just the white box and skirt in an Amazon box. I thought these were ready to ship in their own special mailers?

Yeah I got it at Collectors Choice with the 20% coupon for 248.88.

 

I'm debating getting it locally at Music Direct for $319+ tax or from CCMusic for $249+tax. I fear having to replace defected disks and doing that locally at music direct will be a lot easier. But it is still a huge different in $$

 

That is a big enough savings that if you did have to re-buy a few potentially defective titles individually from the box you would still be ahead of the MD price.

 

I had no defects in the box I bought a couple of months ago, except for some smudged ink on the Help! cover (which I don't really care about).

FYE is running a half-off sale on its "Red Hot Deals" through the holiday weekend. Some of the stores have this set for $200.00 ($180.00 if you are a "Backstage Pass" holder - FYE's frequent customer card). I know there is a set in the Kingston, NY store.

 

$180 is a hell of a deal.

 

Just got this set for £211 off of Amazon.co.uk's marketplace. I think there's one left at this price if anyone is looking for it! I'm really happy with it! Can't wait to get this on my turntable!!

Weird I ordered to my mom's in Teaneck, NJ 1 town over from you and I got 270 Canadian Dollars which is $203 USD with Priority 1-3 day shipping...

 

Yes, interesting indeed. Mine was US$202.59 (to be precise) with the slowest shipping option. If I wasn't going to be out of town for the entire rest of the week I might look into it, but sometime next week actually works better for me.
