I would say born at the right time. Grew up in the 80's. Can't ask for more.

    (if I may combine sources)

...although I like "Born Too Loose" better - think I'll write that song...

On the day I was born
    The nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder
At the joy they had found
    The head nurse spoke up
    Said "leave this one alone"
    She could tell right away
That I was bad to the bone

I'm still busy being born, and hope to avoid being busy dying at any point in the near future.

I had to look up the "transit lounge" thing -- Paulie. I should've known.

I voted for "On the day I was born, my Daddy sat down and cried. I had the mark just as plain as day, it could not be denied."

But then it turned out to be just a post-natal rash that went away in a couple days, and everything was OK.

It's still true, however, that on the day I was born, all the nurses gathered 'round, and gazed in wide-wonder at the joy they had found. But then the head nurse spoke up, and said "Leave this one alone, because I'm tellin' you honey, he's bad to the bone."

    Yup, true story.
