is this all you contribute to this thread? pleas to leave the book details out of it?

i, for one, do not mind the little tidbits from the books that others are contributing. it doesn't ruin the show for me. at. all. i'm watching this show and enjoying/judging it on it's own merits.

The books are so different from the series now I can't see how spoiling the books could make a bit of difference.

There was another thread, a few weeks back.
Spoiler were allowed on that one.

So glad Cersei got a taste of her own medicine.

Melisandre is not afraid to show skin. Hope they keep her around....

    Well done episode this week...

It's legitimate criticism to reference source material.

If you haven't read the books and mean to then get busy.

I have no intention of reading anymore after reading the first - it is terrible stuff - and I appreciate to hear the views from people who have made that sacrifice.

As for the end - I foresee Martin destroying all of Westeros and leaving it for the Walkers and the Dragons, it would fit with his "burn all bridges" "nothing means anything" mind set. Really, anything else would be nonsense, or at this point, public pressure.

...but then, this could just reflect my own growing boredom with the series and the dumb sand-snakes plot.

  8. I haven't read a single "spoiler" for many pages now. How is discussing where the book substantially deviates from the show a "spoiler"? I will respect the OP's request for no book discussion as that is not the intent of this thread -even though I think it limits the interest factor of the thread.

    This...

These comments wouldn't have to be made repeatedly if spoilers or book comparisons didn't keep cropping up regularly.

It should be obvious by the thread title that this is the place for discussion of the series only. Whether you like spoilers or not, they're not welcome here.

There is another thread for discussion of the series and comparisons to the book.

And please take your criticism of me elsewhere. I have contributed to the discussion of this series. I happen to love this show, and don't plan to read the books. I don't want to know what's coming or where there are differences. That is what the other thread is for.

I thought the actor specified in a revised contract "no more nude scenes" after the earlier scenes were done.

Winter can affect the whole world, including Essos and Dorne, though to different degrees depending on location and the length of time winter lasts.

Yes she did, which is why that scene looked so laughably contrived compared to her 'carefree' scenes from earlier seasons. In fact, it was so obvious that it took me out of the scene. They could have handled it much better than that.

She wasn't famous then, she's famous now. She can make demands and get away with it..

No. It was because winter is coming and she was cold.

This is how you subtly cover up nudity.

I can't believe people are so worked up about not being able to see Emelia Clarke's boobs in every episode. It's like there's a sense of entitlement. "Hey baby, you showed them to me last season..."
