What the hell? When did she go bald. She has hair (I think) in the Memorabilia video

haha, well it really is quite an exceptional album and the extra tracks are all great too. for me "Torch" is a career highlight for this band.

Still I hope they have finished re-re-re-re-releasing it finally and let this version stand.

Not a waste of time and money, but it's far from essential - especially if you already own the 1996 reissue made by Roger Wake. The remastering of Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing is exactly the same one available since 1998, while Non Stop Erotic Cabaret is a different (good) remaster. Anyway, they normalized the tracks and you can even hear some distortion and clipping here and there. The extra tracks are a mixed bag IMHO.

    Approach with caution.

I still think the best remaster was the 2002 US edition.

I've had it for three months now, and I still love it. Then again, I didn't have all of the extra material before, just the original LP.

Another disc worth pursuing is Soft Cell's: Non-Stop Exotic Video Show which contains the videos for "Torch" and "Tainted Love".

I could play the video of "Torch" all day long.

Did the new remasters for "Falling Apart" and "This Last Night" get cancelled? Also, did anyone get or hear the Heat remixes CD? It has a rather good tracklisting, but often remixes don't measure up to the original versions. How do these fare?

I haven't been able to find mentions of the original German CD for Non-Stop, any comments on the sound quality? I am planning on replacing my Roger Wake remastered version for that. Thx.

I listened to "What" recently and it's a lot better than I remembered. Quite a good little synth pop song.

I agree 100%. Great tune. And a great band.

I haven't played it for a while and I usually hate modern mixes of old tracks, but from what I remember it was surprisingly strong. Anything remixed by Manhattan Clique is a safe bet. They did some amazing B-52's and Human League remixes.

The remix of Heat was exceptional.
