jperiod.com is offering a free download of the Best of Lauryn Hill: Fire & Water mixtape. 82 tracks! I downloaded it Wednesday but I noticed the download link is still working as of a couple of minutes ago. Just a heads up for anyone interested.

Thanks. Lovely stuff with the Fugees, and Miseducation is a (neo) soul classic.

I've never heard this stuff before and I'm enjoying it a lot. I just can't get enough Lauryn Hill.

There's some other stuff that looks interesting as well. On the download page there are James Brown, Biggie, Michael Jackson, John Legend & The Roots downloads plus others.

On the mixtapes page there's a Q-Tip that looks interesting. Actually there's a lot of stuff there that looks interesting.

Will we ever get a new album from her? Will it be any good?

She's been gigging a lot this year. I for one am a big fan so I hope she does get it together one of these days and release a new studio album.

Now that I've listened to both "CDs" of this mixtape I'm going to highly recommend it to anybody who loves LH's music. I've never heard a mixtape that flows as well as this one. Lots of unreleased tracks, great remixes and live stuff. I'd love to have this in CD quality.
