I have signed John Cage 78s, John Simon signed my copy of You Are What You Eat, The whole band signed my copy of the 1st Black Hollies album, many others but not anything too well known. Tons of signed books; Phil Lesh, Nick Mason, Zoot Horn Rollo, Mickey Hart, Tom Constanten (I'm mentioned twice in his bio)...

Born To Run signed by Bruce in 1978. A friend who was with me had a bootleg that Bruce punched and then signed. My friend then gave it to his new girlfriend at the time who broke up with him a month later.

 

George Clinton, Computer Games LP

Clinton drew a kind of dog (triangular snout, eyes, nose, rolls of hair)

He wrote what looks like "Let's Dog th- Bitch Out".

 

Iron Maiden - Live after Death ( I met them all backstage after a show at the Worcester Centrum on the Somewhere In Time tour)
Marillion - Seasons's end tour I hung out after the show and got them to all sign..including Hogarth...
Steve Earle - Copperhead Road.... met him back stage as part of my radio station gig....
Hot Tuna - Burgers... another back stage adventure
Van Halen - I traded some green vegetable for a meet and greet pass... had my cd copy of unlawful carnal knowledge signed
The Alarm - Roadied for them and had them sign a couple of things....
Don Henley - met him at a book signing... had him sign The End of the Innocence CD

He signed my Asylum album since we were sold out of Centerfield and refused to sign any CCR stuff.

John Fogerty was the first artist I met at the store when I first started working there as a employee of "Perry-Jans Distribution," a jazz label distribution company Bob was running out of the back of the store in 1986. At first John Fogerty refused to sign anything saying "the last time I signed something, I signed away 3 million dollars of publishing money" but since we were nice guys he signed a bunch of stuff including my album. He missed a sound check at James L. Knight just to hang out and shop.

 

I got a CD copy of Pet Sounds, which Mike Love signed for me. He took the CD sleeve and searched for the correct place to sign. So he decided to sign white goat's neck.

Not a record but my dad once received a handwritten letter from John Lennon - he had asked for permission to use a poem from In his own Write in his student magazine, and Lennon replied personally. He didn't keep it !! I could've bought a house with that now!
