Any fans of this album? I'm listening to the remaster-brings back good memories!

She was very prone to vocal affectations back then but she could absolutely sing. A record with a sound stuck in its time for sure but very good nonetheless.

Great album. The original 80's Portrait/Columbia CD sounds fine. Growing weary of remastered CDs.

Really like this. I still want the SACD.

True Colors and A Night To Remember weren't too shabby either.

Stored next to Barry´s "Now Voyager". (He, he... Just kidding. I do have the discs, though.)

You know you've done well when Miles Davis covers one of the songs off your debut album... ;)

Not yet. They´re testing to see whether SACD is contagious. I do hope it is... :agree:

Great album. The video for "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" brings back memories of the early days of MTV. It seems that they played this video every 10 minutes. :D

Madonna continued to innovate and progress well into the next decade(s). While poor Cyndi was left behind and became nothing more than a forgotten 80's Pop singer. :sigh:
