And what a cool cameo at that!

I also like a lot Alice Cooper in Wayne's World.

Well, it WAS a "Road" movie (It was originally called "The Road to Russia")
    .
Also, B. B. King, Martin Brest (Director of "Midnight Run" and "Beverly Hills Cop"), Joel Coen (Director of "No Country For Old Men", "Raising Arizona").

"Why don't you gentleman have a Pepsi?"

And we could spent two weeks listing the cameos in "Mad Mad Mad Mad World"! I especially liked Jerry Lewis as the mad driver.

Even though she might not have been famous at the time, Estelle Reiner in "When Harry Met Sally".

    "I'll have what she's having"

Another favorite I just recalled... HOT SHOTS! PART DEUX. When Charlie Sheen is going up the jungle river and meets his father, Martin going in the opposite direction in an exact duplication of "APOCALYPSE NOW". I think they just stare at each other as they go by. Classic!

IIRC, their narration overlaps and they look at one another and proclaim "I enjoyed you in Wall Street!"

    Howdy,
Merriam Webster definition of cameo appearance:
4: a small theatrical role usually performed by a well-known actor and often limited to a single scene; broadly : a brief appearance or role
Anyone who grew up with a television in the 60's would with the highest likelyhood seen Leave It To Beaver and certainly knows who Barbara Billingsley is.
I would debate that she was specifically chosen for that cameo because of who she is and what she represents, Mrs. Cleaver...all american housewife icon. That's the essential element for this bit in order for it to work. Instant recognition of this wholesome stereotype...speaking jive.
Based on the definition of cameo and Ms. Billingsley's television personna, I respectfully submit for your further consideration: Barbara Billingsley - Jive Lady as a cameo.
    (others that agree:p )
    Quote from Yahoo Movies:
In 1980, Billingsley was thrust back in the public consciousness through an hilarious cameo in "Airplane!", as a passenger who could translate the urban ghetto chatter of a black passenger for the flight attendant.
Quote from TLA Video & DVD Guide:
Cameos include "Beaver's" Mom, Barbara Billingsley and Ethel Merman

Okay, you win! :D Wasn't saying it definitely WASN'T a cameo, but I thought it straddled a line, especially because the role didn't have to be played by someone known. It would've worked just as well if played by any middle-class, middle-aged, seemingly uptight white woman - unlike the Merman thing, the joke didn't depend on our recognition of Billingsley...

I say hey sky, s'other say I won say I pray to J I get the same ol' same ol. You know wha' they say: See a broad to get that bodiac lay'er down an' smack 'em yack 'em.

The episode of "The Lucy Show" where the plumber complains about his resemblance to Jack Benny and at the end shows up with an assistant-Bob Hope.
Danny Thomas on "Dick van Dyke"
On "I Dream of Jeannie" Major Healey says he wishes he was the funniest man in the world and Jeannie turns him into Groucho Marx.

Benny and especially Hope did a bunch of great cameos

Unfortunately many of the ones I'd love to post (Benny in Hope's The Great Lover, Hope being visited by Tony Randall and Jack Klugman on The Odd Couple) seem to have been taken down from YT
