Just picked up the 'Tour' edition. 19 tracks on 1 cd and 2 concerts on 2 DVDs.

Excellent value for money but doesn't encourage day 1 sales.

How are the DVDS? The tracklists look pretty good.

Have only given the dvds a quick run out. Need to find the time to watch them all the way through.

First is an indoor arena show New York (sept? 2015). Klaus says it was streamed by Yahoo live. I've only had time to play the first 5 tracks but its all good to me. Cameras tend to stay focussed in one place for a few seconds (as opposed to Iron Maiden's 3 camera viewpoints a second technique that they use on their dvds). There is also an mini film of their US tour. Couple of music videos and an interview with Klaus doing a track by track talk through.

Second dvd is an open air concert - Hellfest France last June. Similar tracklist to the first dvd but with more shots of the crowd!

Sound quality is good on both.

I paid £13.99 here in the UK and for all the content included I'd highly recommend it. Especially if you haven't any scorpions dvd at home.

Here's fresh video of Scorpions & Mikkey Dee paying tribute to Lemmy by playing Motörhead's classic "Overkill":

Can anyone comment on this vinyl? I ordered it from an Amazon seller for $12 (including shipping) today after hearing some of the songs on Spotify. My first impressions were excellent ballads, really solid production, and much better than the last two, especially Sting In The Tail. Agree also that a little more guitar in a few spots woul have been just classic...still love it though!

Listening to this right now, vinyl sounds fantastic. $12 for this, you gotta be kidding! Anyone know is the download card included only the 7 extra tracks or all of them?

My only criticism is that the album has practically no lead guitar solos. Which leaves me shaking my head in bewilderment. There must be a reason for this but as I no longer subscribe to any guitar mags I don't know if the reason was made public (Matthias broke his fingers? Matthias pulled an Alex Lifeson circa mid-90's and decided he didn't want to play solos anymore for the sake of "art"? Or what???).

Agreed there may be less than the norm but I wouldn't say none. I counted 5 or 6 so far and did not even finish side four. They do seem to be picking their spots instead if a full on assault but to me this is better than any of the last 3-4 albums (Sting of the Tail was mostly horrible) and although I liked Humanity Hour 1 to a certain extent I feel that it suffered from an overly polished and super compressed production.

  20. I just got the EU vinyl pressing for "Sting in the Tail", on sale for around 10 Euros. Wow, can't believe how dynamic and totally different this sounds compared to the CD. Here's the DR info:

Vinyl cannot be mastered too loud, because it would make the needle jump.
