Look up your POB physical address. You can give that address with the POB #. (leave-out POB)

UPS and FedEx will not deliver to a US Postal Office. That's usually why a seller won't sell to to a PO Box. Playing games to pretend it's not going to a PO Box can get the package returned as undeliverable if they ship via UPS or FedEx and in that case the seller often won't refund shipping.

It's not a game. I've have it done all the time with UPS or Fedex. Check with your POB. They gave a letter showing how to address the packages.

    name
    PO Box 444
    City, State, zip

    use:
    name
    753 street #444
    City, State, zip

(753 street = physical address of the US Post Office) also, be sure to use the zip of the physical address, not the zip of the POB

You can look online for the physical address of a Post Office. I've done this when sending a gift to someone's POB. (when a POB was not permitted)

I stand corrected. Apparently, UPS and FedEx came to an agreement to do this in 2012. Although there are some post office locations that do not participate.

The caveat is that all service guarantees are null and void for such address. That is, no ontime delivery guarantees and, apparently, also no insurance guarantees that extend beyond proof of shipment to the post office itself (this means no insurance claims for damage).

I did (thanks to this thread for the tip). It got delayed in the mail and so took a couple of days longer than I'd hoped but arrived in good shape. The delay appears (from tracking) to have been a USPS issue, not the fault of seller. Wonder why they wouldn't ship to my PO Box if they use USPS.

    Today :

We're sorry to let you know that clover-media canceled your order and mentioned the reason as I'm out of stock or can't fulfill the order for another reason.

The seller refunded $19.50 back to your original payment method, and you don't need to do anything else.

    on Friday :

SHIPPED: NEW - Goodnight Irene: The Weavers 1949-1953 by The Weavers

    UGH !!!

I'll say this: I prefer a seller who's ultimately upfront and refund the money promptly than either of the following, which are all too common:

    1) Some sort of BS excuse about "it didn't pass our quality inspection certification as we were preparing it for shipment"

    or

    2) Claiming it was shipped, providing no tracking number (because it wasn't actually shipped) and then waiting to see if you ever complain and refunding only if/when you complain.
