Yeah! John's voice is just perfect on Dear Prudence. What a close race!

This is cool. I never considered that Dear Prudence would be voted favorite track of the White, even though it is MY favorite track! Every ingredient in that song is measured out perfectly. Love it.

I was too late to get in this round. I would have voted for While My Guitar...

    Can we get a recount?

Then it would have lost 152-149.

This is one reason why these polls are fascinating. Eliminating the "worst" most times, I'd bet, leaves you with a different winner than if we all simply voted for our favorite in a straight up poll/competition. A different logic prevails. (It occurs to me this point has probably been made before, my apologies if so).

I think that's correct. After all, neither of the two in the final would have been MY choice for the best on the LP.

I have done a different game called "Rescue." In it, I put the songs from an album, or maybe the singles from a group, in some sort of "danger situation," and the players are the rescue crew that rushes into the burning building (or whatever) to pull out songs. Alas, at the end, the building collapses before the last one can be pulled out.

I didn't ever do it here because the players are so familiar with me doing TWL as I have for over a decade. I don't want to mess with the time warp continuum, or something like that.

Even though the margin was razor-thin, I am in shock that my favorite song actually won!

Dear Prudence really is a beautiful song, and the band (sans Ringo) collaborated wonderfully on it.

Glad to see DP win this though neither would be in my top 5 on the album

Not to mention "Weakest Link" threads are hardly new around here.

Wow that was tight. Wish I had voted...although I would have voted George out so no change as such.

Even as a kid, that bass slide by Paul on "Prudence" was one of my first "wow" moments listening to a record.
