The Bugs cartoon where Sam is a pirate and Bugs keeps throwing matches into the ship's hold full of TNT. After Sam says he's not going to go get the match, he briefly sits down and plays jacks to show he's not concerned.

Back in the day, we used to go through some of these frame by frame. Some of the individual cels, eg Wiley getting electrocuted, are hilarious.

I can't find the clip, but another one from Rabbit Hood where the Sheriff of Nottingham builds a house on the royal rose garden, then starts hitting himself on the head with a hammer while exclaiming "I hate myself! I DO! I DO I DO!"

The fact that Bugs went to the trouble to bake a cake JUST to follow through on that gag is too funny!

"Hillbilly Hare" might be my single favorite Bugs cartoon of all time, and that's saying something. They used to censor the living crap out of that on the old CBS Saturday morning reruns. The complete cartoon is an absolute riot.

I forgot "Ali Baba Bunny," the one with Jim Backus as the voice of the Genie:

Horrible picture quality, but the versions out on DVD are fine. Just about every second of this cartoon (directed by the great Bob McKimson) are classic.

"Hot Cross Bunny" is another great one -- a-zum-zum-doody da-dah zat-dooray! -- but the quality of the ones up on YouTube are really wretched. I gotta wonder why people bother posting hundreds of cartoons that have all been stomped on with video effects, boxes, bursts of light, and all kinds of other crap. It's mind-boggling.
