    I do, that track blows.

Within You Without You. Totally uninteresting. And no, it's not because it's Indian music, I enjoyed "Love You To".

well said my friend...ppl seem to enjoy negativity especially these days...I cannot follow suit. Just listen and enjoy the music instead of nit picking the S*&t out of it or better yet don't listen to stuff one doesn't like, but let those who do without incident.

I think "TNK" won for "Revolver" but I don't think it won an overall "Beatles catalog" WL...

    Not many I consider overrated.
If I had to pick one I would go with "Yer Blues". I hear it praised, but I don't like the Beatles version of it very much. It was done much better by John (and his bands) on LOVE PEACE IN TORONTO and ROCK AND ROLL CIRCUS.

That's what I said. He was right. John was wrong. He should have changed that line.

judging by the recent White Album edition of The Weakest Link, I'm going with "Blackbird."

A personal matter? Of course. Contrarianism? Hardly. I didn't like it in 1965 and the fact that it was covered thousands of times couldn't make me like
better. Why would it? But I didn't "wear it out" I've never liked it. It is not "beloved" by me.

"Something". Greatest love song? I don't think so.

I think John was strung out or messing with Paul and it led to decades of lazy McCartney lyrics.

That was my point. John told him "first draft is OK" and then he ran with it forever.

Since so many feel that it's a bad line in "Hey Jude", I think we should have a contest to write a better one. :)

Til There Was You is the worst.

Something and All You Need Is Love are my votes for most overrated originals.

Why should that line have been changed when HEY JUDE -- just as it was completed -- was The Beatles' biggest single of all, and is always considered one of their greatest songs? It would be one thing if it failed on some level and was considered "not as great as it could have been"... but that just isn't the case.

Across The Universe - never liked any of the versions. Good song, but no magic.

All Together Now - don't know how high it's rated, but released as Apple A-side in many countries with healthy sales. Their most boring effort.

Regarding "Hey Jude"- I wasn't necessarily a huge fan of this song but once I experienced it live at my first and only McCartney show I'd say it was a pretty powerful concert experience.

If I had to pick, it'd be "Walrus". The only thing
that saves it is that noone plays it anymore.

"Hey Jude" gets my pick of most overplayed
    Beatle tune.

Had fun listening to "That Means a Lot" yesterday.
It's no classic but it's got that great '65 vibe epitomized
by "I'll Be Back". But that was late '64, wasn't it?
