Good Night for me, since it's the perfect album finale with Can You Take Me Back and Revolution 9 preceding it.

I dismiss Her Majesty as the finale.

At least you could have listed them all. Now we cannot have the discussion between fans of Yellow Submarine in Pepperland and Money. And we lose all those moraly superior remarks on Run for Your Life.

All of them because they mean the album is almost over? :D

Cheap shot, I know. Forgive me.

Oh, I just mentioned the most obvious examples. Of course we could have debated the legitimity of Magical Mystery Tour and Oldies but Goldies as core albums and talk about their endings.

My first LP I ever had..acquired from my sister...Meet the Beatles. Always loved the haunting sound of that tune.

Without question, Good Night. A spooky ending to the trippiest album side they ever did from the most enigmatic album they ever made.

I think Eric Wagner is a big Beatles fan and I know he loves The Monkees. Pretty cool for a guy that sang in a seminal doom metal band.

I always liked "This is Johnny Rhythm saying goodnight to yiz all... and God bless yiz..." wrapping up Love.

We all hear things differently. To me Goodnight is just the opposite of spooky sounding. Revolution #9 is spooky and Goodnight provides a lush Bert Kaempfert like arrangement that dissolves all of the wild discordant spooky energy that preceded it.

All of them are great closing songs, but I went with "Tomorrow Never Knows" because it was the first one that said,"This is the big one. You've never heard anything quite like it before and nothing else on the album could have followed it." (Although it was the first Revolver track they recorded.)

"Good Night." Everybody's different, but I'm amazed that so many people dismiss it.

It can be heard as straight or as bitterly ironic. I adore the song and its place on the White Album because of that powerful contrast.

What's there to debate about MMT? It should be up there as well. And, All You need is Love is a dynamite closer.
