Only 240 vinyl copies released, I'm pretty confident that no one else would currently be playing this:

Tony Malaby's TubaCello - "Scorpion Water." Wailing and transcendent saxophone fronting a muscular band with immense power from, as billed, the tuba and cello holding down the bottom end.

I listen to a lot of stuff regularly that was never that popular or never part of any fad or trend or had a period of huge popularity otherwise.

The advice of several friends who are in agreement with my interpretations of recent events: turned down by a co-op board for no good reason and then shortly after left hanging at my mechanic by a Nissan dealer that never showed with the vehicle I was planning on buying. The vehicle is an SUV that I intended to start doing records shows with again. It's time to focus wholly and completely on getting out of this dung-hole city once and for all. No more time or money wasted entertaining my wife's sick fascination with NYC. She is resisting a move but too bad. I'm leaving one way or the other, with or without her.

Ron Tabak and company were very under appreciated back in the late 70s. I'm sure they've completely disappeared from memory today. A fantastic pop/rock band.
