It does look like both were written/ scripted to fit each other

There are quite a few videos of Physical.

The one from the 1982 live show is good with Olivia doing an aerobics session in the middle of the song!

Love the harmonies on Recovery. John Farrar & Olivia did all the vocals themselves on the album. No other background singers at all.

 

They used to stop the video before the guys went into the shower together at the end. I kid you not.

 

Great way of doing that, i expect they sparred the lines and harmonies back and forth until they got it right - went with recording this straight away.

 

I think Physical was the only album John and Olivia did all the vocals on.

 

Jumping to 1983, this is one of Olivia's loveliest videos. From the Two Of A Kind soundtrack. Very simple song. No synths.

 

Its been posted before, but this video goes well with the back cover theme to the Album, I like the wackyness of this one

Hairspray was in about this time!

 

Its quite a pleaseant one and quite a departure from plotting a style trajectory between Physical and Soul kiss.

I really don't like this video. She looks demented.

The song would have easily fit on 'Soul Kiss'.

 

The was the best of the 'Soul Kiss' videos.

 

Body warmers are in by this Point! (after leg warmers). I think the budget was tight but the song sounds good!
