Never got around the Metallica, I like most of the song I heard. Never thought to get the Titanic soundtrack, I have the Celine Dion song on her album.
I have all the other albums. This is pretty standard fare, Isn't it?

I didn't do so well this time. I currently own only 5 of these, and a sixth one at another time.

    Only own Abbey Road.

I did buy The Wall when it first came out and just hated it; a huge drop in quality from the brilliant Animals. When The Final Cut proved to be no better, I dumped them both and gave up on PF.

Never bought any of the others.

Over a half a billion sold on that list, but I only account for 4 sales.

Although I've now picked up all PF up to The Wall, that's where I stopped as I didn't care for the ABITW single back then and still don't.

    I have 12.

I don't have Dirty Dancing, Madonna, Celene, Adele, or Whitney.

Obviously I don't have a thing for pop divas.

Neither of the film-related albums, no Adele, Celine or Whitney, no Santana and, ridiculously, no Brothers In Arms!

Abbey Road and I listed the Immaculate Collection because I bought it although it was stolen to buy drugs - but my wife has it

Anyone shocked that Abbey Road is winning this thing?

I have to say yes for any original Beatle album (but not things like 1) because I bought them all at once in that roll top box once upon a time. I've even listened to it this century, because I made a needledrop for my wife to play. Only other one for me is once again Floyd.

What (if anything) do these polls say about the tastes of this forums members vs. the general public that made these albums best sellers?

I actually still like all of these, though I never listen to The Wall. Utterly burned out on it.

I have all of them, apart from the Celine Dion one, the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack, the Metallica album and the Guns´n´Roses album. (Have "Greatest Hits" of two of them - and that´ll do, as far as I´m concerned - Celine Dion and Guns´n´Roses.)

Eight this time... Adele, Abbey Road, Born in the USA, Brothers in Arms, The Immaculate Collection, Metallica, Nevermind and Appetite.

I think these polls are a ploy to catch some avowed rocker with a Celine Dion album. :D
