Don't think I've found a single CD on the Rock Candy label that sounded good. Is there anything at all wrong with the originals?

I've always LOVED 'Pride'
One of the finest rock albums of the 80s

Really hope the remaster will make this gem sound good at last. The original CD sounds AWFUL. NO BASS whatsoever, metallic, thin sound all over.
The Japan CD which I have, sound better. Still not good enough

I loved "Little Fighter" and "When the Children Cry". Vito Bratta had Eddie Van Halen's Roth-era tone down pat, at a time when Eddie had abandoned it.

 

Did anyone on this forum ever get the Rock Candy remasters? How is the sound?
