Deep discount is having what they call "an early Christmas sale" (no codes). Some things that I had in my shopping basket went down in price. Might be worth checking out.

IMPORTCDS still have 10% discount using SAVE10 code. So they might just beat Amazon on some pricing. I've got some great deals on vinyl from them even though the name suggests otherwise. They are part of a massive distributer in CA that has several other brands under the same umbrella.

I noticed that the Janis Joplin 4Lp Vinyl box was $39.99 so after the discount it would be $36.

So chic to say today isn't it ? I don't assign the lowest price on an item, sometimes it's even Barnes & Noble. Shock ! I also don't dictate who can ship the exact same item in two days, that takes others up to 30 days.
It is what it is.

I asked another member by PM today has Import CDs packing gotten any better ? His response ? When items arrive damaged, he works around it with replacement parts.

I have had only one problem with them in the last 10 years. And in that case, I had to push a bit, but they resolved the matter to my full satisfaction.

For me, it's about price and availability. For the stuff I often want to buy, they fulfill both. And my last few orders got to me quick.

Correct. I bought through amazon, if that matters. And the orders were small.

 

That's great, but in the case of these 2 upcoming SACDs, a $2.16 difference isn't enough for me to roll the dice.
