Im looking forward to buy some sort of bookcase to manage my records. Each cabinet is about 15 inches wide. Anyone have any idea how many records could it hold?

From my record store days I learned that it's about 75 records per foot of shelf/rack space if they are pretty snug, maybe 60 if they are loose.

So 15 inches should fit what 90 records?

Yeah, that's probably the max you'd want to have. I usually leave an inch or so to move them around a bit.

Course. So 8 cubicles should hold 700 without any problem.

    Hi SZep

Haven't seen you here in awhile. I think you probably need 9 to 10 15" cubicles to have room to add a few. I think as jlc noted 60 per foot is a safer limit. Remember also that gatefolds take up extra space as do 180g LPs.
