Hi, i know you cant connect multiple amps to the same set of speakers (not talking about biamping) but could i do this:

Stereo amp connected via speaker level inputs and AVR connected via LFE to the same sub obviously only running one at a time, is it ok?

    Thanks.

Nope; my sub's instruction manual says you can't (JBL SUB 12 Venue series). I have speaker cables running from both my vintage amps and interchange the connections at the rear (banana plugs) when I want to listen to music with one rig or watch a concert dvd with the other. Of course doing the same with a single line-level cable per amp would be much neater and simpler.
