Mexican actress Lupita Tovar is 105. She's best known for her appearance in a Spanish language version of Dracula.

If you're of a certain age, you know him better as Punky Brewster's adoptive father Henry. :)

I haven't followed his entire long career, but he is excellent in a dramatic role in Vanya on 42nd Street.

Child star of the silents, Baby Peggy, turns 97 next month. She made her first film in 1921.

Here's a shot of her with Edward Everett Horton and Clara Bow, from a film called "Helen's Babies" (which survives, and is on YouTube if anyone is curious).

Gee, after Tom Hagen refused to get him off the hook for old time's sake I figured he was a goner.

Did Louise Rainer finally die? I remember putting her birthday into the newspaper year after year thinking, wow, she's still around?

Kevin McCarthy passed away at age 96 in 2010. My avatar is a shot of him in one of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes, 'Long Live Walter Jameson'.
I think he was still working even near the very end of his life. I'm sure many must know of him as Biff Loman from the movie 'Death Of A Salesman', but he had quite a prolific career, it seems.

    That's amazing. Thanks for sharing.

For more than 40 years I have been fascinated by movie stills and publicity photos from the 1920s and 1930s. In the 1970s, when I first became interested, many of the actors and actresses were still alive, some still working. Now they are nearly all gone.

Ernest Borgnine (1917-2012) was 95 when he passed. He was still working too.

I don't know if Rhonda Fleming was a star but she acted in Gunfight at the OK Corall with Kirk and she's still kicking at 92

It's shocking (and happily so) how active Betty White still is. She'll be 94 in January.

I don't think it was in "Moon". Maybe a cameo.
