    Finalists?
Well... I guess Because and... maybe You Never Give Me Your Money.
    Very difficult, great songs throughout.

And in the end, the song you choose is equal to the song you lose

Something is not weaker musically, so Sun has to go.

    Very tough choice.
While I like Here Comes the Sun better, Something is actually a better song, nay a classic in the same way as Yesterday.
    So Sun gets the boot.
I would pair Octopus Garden b/w Maxwell. It would be a Beatles single that wouldn't crack the top 40.
Or perhaps it would. People might buy the single just to burn it. A Beatles scene becomes a Rutles scene becomes a Beatles scene.

I got in too late to start playing, but the fact that the only two George songs remain lends credence to my contention that Paul, George and Ringo could have carried at least for a couple more LPs on as a powerful studio band. John would eventually pop back in for cameos.

I see you couldn't vote for the whole Golden Slumbers-The End medley, but that remains my favorite all time Beatle sequence. The other two remaining here are firmly tied at two. Being I didn't play-it remains a tie for me. I think if you forced me to choose one off, it would be Here Comes the Sun.

I have to vote for Something to remain.
DQ; Something and I Want You (She's So!)
I Want You has grown so much on me over the years. I doubt that I would have picked it as recently as 5 years ago.

My final pairing would be "You Never Give Me Your Money" and "Here Comes The Sun". And then I wouldn't be able to vote off "Something" like I just did.

I voted off Here Comes The Sun but it was hard. I really like that song but as i said in the round before, Something is more of a classic.

My final pairing would be You Never Give Me Your Money with The End, with The End winning.

PD: My Beatles compilation (20 éxitos de oro) was right, these two final Harrisongs were the ones chosen from Abbey Road.

Ringo's drumming and the new (at the time) sound of the synthesizer make "Sun" the best song on the album. Great song, great vocals. Also it's a very Beatle sounding song.

I slightly prefer Something. When I think of it I might get tired of it (and then Here comes the Sun might feel fresher). But everytime I listen closely to it, I just can't believe how much greater it is than I thought. The same goes with a lot of ubiquitous beatles ballads. You think of them and they seem lifeless, because your memory makes a poor cover of them. And then, you actually listen, and it's the original in all its glory. Same for Let it Be, Yesterday, Imagine etc. Mindblowingly good if you really listen.

DQ : Something and Come Together.

Voted against the Sun but love them both, clearly my favourite two tracks from this album.

    Great poll, thanks Joey.

Best two songs by process of elimination are Harrison tunes. Now that's kinda cool. :)

Sun goes for being a bit too twee.

My final two would be I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Something, mostly for the bass and guitar work. IWY(SSH) would win.

This is a stone cold classic that I don't know which final pair could have been, maybe this one.

I vote Here Comes the Sun. Something is a much better song. Anyway, my personal final pairing would be You Never Give Me Your Money and Golden Slumbers.

There is a reason why not, but I'd have to reveal a private conversation to do that, and I'm inclined not to do so.
